| Volunteer Program |
The Pan American Health Service Volunteer's Program aims to promote the volunteer spirit in order to bring cheer to both the volunteer as well as to the people who receive their assistance. |
The hard work of our dedicated staff has been supplemented by many volunteers over the last 50 years. Great-hearted professionals and students of various fields have become good friends and valuable colleagues of our organization. They bring with them a message of goodwill and love, not only for the children on our campus but also to community members around Lake Yojoa . |

If you would like to share your time with our kids or would like to build on the potential of our industries, or if you are interested in assisting in one of our education programs, you can Download the information brochure about how you can become a volunteer. |

Our work was started 50 years ago by missionaries who believed in showing love to the poor through meeting their needs. Considering our missionary legacy, our ideal applicant will hold similar values to those espoused in Isaiah 58:7. The ideal applicant has a compassionate heart and a desire to share of themselves to help the poor.
The ideal applicant has a strong sense of adventure and a desire to help people with little education and few resources. The desire to be of assistance motivates the ideal applicant to exhibit creativity in problem solving and a high degree of flexibility. Their insight and understanding of human nature and cultural differences aids in their mission to be of assistance and to successfully complete their volunteer experience. |
|
Our ideal applicant exhibits a good moral example in their behavior, keeping in mind that they are helping to mold the characters of the children and adolescents being raised on our campus.
The ideal applicant is anyone over the age of 21, who has meaningful work experience, is the student of a profession or is a trained professional, and who is a team-player, highly self-motivated and can be productive with minimum supervision.

If you posses the qualities of our ideal applicant and have talents you are willing to share by volunteering on our campus in Honduras, download the text form, fill it out, and send it to our fax number or address in the USA. You may also email it to volunteers@panamhealth.org
