Kenia Mendez, whose scores on her entrance exam earned her full scholarship to the University of San Pedro Sula four years ago, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Communication and Marketing. She is already employed by a periodical in the city.

Patty, Avis and Dinora, residents of our Girl’s Home arrived at Universidad Adventista de Centro America in Costa Rica ready to initiate classes as they seek degrees in Nursing and Education. We are so proud of these girls who have been busy working, studying and processing the paperwork necessary to go abroad to study. Pray for them!

Fifteen students from a Graduate Class in Nutrition from Andrew’s University in Michigan, led by Dr Winston Craig arrived to give health and nutrition lectures to the local academy, high school and technical school. They were accompanied by other students who came to tile two rooms of our guest house. How we appreciate the efforts of so many to give our facilities a face lift! The students also did screenings for malnutrition, assessed the local diet and went on a rescue mission trip to get malnourished children who had recently been orphaned from a mountain village.
